SCAC Quarterly Meeting – May 12 at Still Hopes

The quarterly meeting of the South Carolina Ag Council is scheduled for Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Still Hopes behind the SC Farm Bureau on 724 Knox Abbot Drive, Cayce, SC. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the program at 10:00 a.m. followed by a catered lunch.

The topic will be the expansion of the Port of Charleston. Speakers will include: Byron Miller, VP of Marketing for the South Carolina State Ports Authority (SCSPA) and Stephanie Sox, Executive Director of the SC Soybean Board.

Farm/City Week awards will be presented immediately following the program.

Friends and guests are welcomed and encouraged. Anyone who has an interest in the Port of Charleston and the importance of the state’s agricultural exports does not want to miss this meeting.

Deadline for advanced reservations of $8 for Ag Council members is Friday, Friday, May 6. Registration at the door or for non-members is $12 per person. The registration fee includes the catered lunch.
