Letter from the SCAC President

Posted on May 22, 2009. Filed under: General Information, Membership |

Dear previous Ag Council members:

As we have progressed into 2009, it has been brought to my attention that our membership has slipped below 100 members.  After talking with the other members of the executive committee, we have determined that some previous members have not renewed their dues primarily because they are not being subsidized by their employer.  I would like to ask that you please reconsider renewing your membership so that you can continue being involved in the SC Agriculture Council.

We are still offering the group discount rate for 4 or more individuals that form a group.  The group must submit one check for the membership dues to get the discount.   If you have any questions, please feel free to contact myself or our Membership Drive Committee Chair Ron Quesinberry at ronq@scfb.com or (803) 936-4676.

If I can be of assistance, please feel free to contact me.  We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting on Thursday August 13th where we will be discussing how the current state of the economy has affected SC agriculture.  Until then, I remain,

Sincerely yours,

Bert Bagley-President, SC Agriculture Council
